Hon Prime Minister releasing the book, Bombay Art Society: History and Voyage at the inauguration of The Bombay Art Society Complex at Bandra Reclamation(13 Feb 2016).

The Bombay Art Society(BAS) was granted a piece land by the Maharashtra State Government and a huge symbol of architectural grandiose stands today on this 10,000 Sq. feet area. This Art complex housing three art galleries, an amphitheater, the art-books Library is a significant addition to the Mumbai’s art and cultural infrastructure, providing artists and art enthusiasts with much needed space for art exhibitions, art residencies, film screenings, live demonstrations, presentations, lectures, workshops, educational activities etc in Mumbai.
Get Involved
Apart from building audiences for works of art, The Bombay Art Society also give the community an ongoing sense of involvement in the arts. The philanthropic individuals and artists can make a meaningful difference in the visual arts community by contributing to the Bombay Art society. The Lovers can
1. Become life members of the society (Donation Rs.25,000 for Art Lovers)
2. Become Patrons of the Society (Donation Rs.1 Lakh)
3. Donor’s name to the Art Galleries towards substantial donation can be given to preserve the memories of their beloved for eternity We request one and all to come forward and support this Art Institution of the artists, by the artists for the artists.

Become A Patron

The Managing Committee may elect a Philanthropic individual of distinction and holding eminent position as a Patron of The Bombay Art Society on receiving a contribution of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only).

Become a Life member

(Art Lover Category)

An individual contributing Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) to the Society can be given a life membership as an Art Lover.

Become a Life Member

(Artist Category)

A Professional Artist contributing Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) can be given a life membership as an Artist Member.

Artists can become a life member of the The Bombay Art Society by paying the life membership Fees of Rs.5050 or Art Lovers can also become life member by paying fees of Rs.25,050. The Life membership Fees of Rs.5050 (Artists’ Category) and Rs.25,050(Art Lover Category) can be made by cheque in favour of ‘The Bombay Art Society’. Please do not write date on the life membership fees cheque, as date is written only after approval of Life Membership form. The duly filled and signed application for along with Membership Fees cheque and document copies such as Curriculum Vieta, Adhar card copy and attested copies of educational qualification certificates, passport size photograph, etc should be couriered to ‘The Bombay Art Society, Opp. Rang Sharda, K C Marg, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050. The soft copy of the same can also be mailed to the society at email Id bombayartsociety@gmail.com.
