Eligibility : The artists working in any medium, style and of any nationality with more than 18 years age are eligible to participate in the Art Carnival.
How to send Artworks for the Art Carnival at the Bombay Art Society:
The Artworks can be sent to ‘Hon. Secretary, The Bombay Art Society, Opp. Rang Sharada, K C Marg, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050’ either in person or by Courier. Please write artist’s name, artwork title, medium, size, year, and price with mobile number of the artist at the back side of each artwork.
Deadline to send artworks for Exhibition: One day before start of each exhibition
Attending the Art Carnival: Participating artists can attend the Art Carnival for full time on all seven days. But those who do not wish to attend art carnival on all days in person can do so, as our volunteers will be available all the time to attend to the Art Carnival. All sale negotiations, coordination and payments will be coordinated by the Bombay Art Society Team.
How to collect artworks from the Bombay Art Society after exhibition: The artworks are strictly to be collected within a week after exhibition to avoid loss or damage to the artwork. The Artworks can be either collected in person or it can be sent by courier by our staff if courier charges are borne by the respective artists in advance. As society do not have storage space for large number of artworks, all are requested to collect artworks strictly within deadline. 
Number of Artworks submission for Art Carnival: Each participant can submit 2 or 4 or 6 Artworks or in the multiple of above and pay the participation fees accordingly. 
SIZE
Minimum 18 x 18 Inches and Maximum 36 x 36 Inches in case of painting, drawing, Murals, and graphics. For photography, minimum 12 x 18 Inches and Maximum 24 x 36 Inches.  The maximum size allowed for sculpture is 24x24x36 (Height) Inches and it should not occupy more than 12 cubic feet and weight should not exceed 40kg in stone and 50kg in metal
CATALOGUE
a) E-catalogue will be made for the Art Carnival and copy of the E-catalogue will be circulated to all and made available on the society’s website. Artists are requested to email artworks images with title, medium, size, and year at bombayartsociety@gmail.com for the catalogue at least 15 days before the exhibition date. The artwork images received beyond deadline may be difficult to include in the catalogue.
b) The Society reserves the right to reproduce any entry for the catalogue or for the purpose of publicity any time in the future.
SALE
The artworks displayed in the Art Carnival will be offered for sale. All sales will be negotiated and coordinated by the Society. The Society will retain 10% donation from the stated or negotiated price. The rest of the amount will be paid to the artist.
Rules and Regulations:
1) The Artworks will be accepted strictly at the participant’s own risk and expenses. Society will not be liable for damages if any or loss of Art works, though Society takes utmost care of exhibits.
2) Sculptures or paintings executed using any fragile materials, (Glass Framing, Plaster, Terra cotta, Ceramic) and contain noxious or toxic substances, have inflammability below 50° C or incorporate dangerous electrical appliances will not be accepted.
3) If artworks are sent by courier and returned to artists by courier, society will not accept responsibility of damage or loss of the artworks in the transit. It is preferable to deliver and collect artworks in person from society’s Art Complex, Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai.
4) Managing committee of the Bombay Art Society reserves the rights of participation.
